Inspired by the romantic era of fashion, this soft and cozy long sleeve blouse evokes practical femininity with its delicate detailing and flattering lines.
Designed with a sleek silhouette, embellished with fleece topstitching, and paired with moderately billowing sleeves...this top is a stand-out piece that pairs well with skirts or pants--even under sleeveless dresses.
Its mandarin collar stands up on its own, or can be worn folded down for a Peter Pan collar shape.
The gigot sleeves of this top feature ruched detailing at the shoulders and a wide roomy fit throughout the bicep and upper arm, ending a few inches below the elbow. Then finished with long, fitted cuffs that start at the 3/4 sleeve mark. Another name for this shape is the "lamb of mutton" sleeve. The cuffs are embellished with fleece detailing and decorative buttons along the side.
I originally designed this blouse to pair with my high waisted plaid skirts, which can be found here: SKIRTS. The sharp angles of the fleece detailing along the chest and shoulders mimics the angular insets of the skirt waistband, pictured here in the Seascape Blues colorway (SEASCAPE BLUES SKIRT)

This blouse is soft, stretchy, and warm--but also very breathable due to the nature of bamboo fibers. A wonderful combination of fancy feminine and practical comfort.

The torso of this blouse is fitted and body skimming, with a scalloped bottom hem that is shorter at the sides and longer in the front/back.
The bottom hem of this blouse is left raw/unfinished to eliminate the bulk of a folded hem. This fabric will not fray or shrink over time and the shirt itself is easy to care for: wash cold/gentle cycle (or hand wash) and dryer safe with low heat.
