Tuxedo Tee

Inspired by the ruffle front bibs of mid 1960’s-1970’s tuxedo shirts (and the exciting colors they often came in), then paired with the cute ringer Tee aesthetic of the same era. Plus a sweet tie front bow as the cherry on top.

A front bib of soft ruffles decorate the front of this tshirt, with brass circular snaps that extend along the bib for a henley style opening. Its front tie creates a small keyhole above the snaps for added femininity—you can also wear this tee unsnapped if you wish.

This short sleeved shirt is finished with a raw hem to minimize bulk as this fabric will not fray or distress over time. The clean cut of this hem will ensure your tee sits flush agains the skin when tucking the shirt in (no bulky hems) as well as maintain a lightweight flowy drape when worn untucked.

Cut in a scalloped shape, the hemline is longer in the front and back—and shorter at the sides.

The coloring of this bamboo knit tshirt is a warm earthy shade that’s a mix of reddish brown and orange, leaning towards a rich gingerbread coloring that pairs perfectly with both colorway’s of the Mother’s Daughter plaid skirts.

Its collar and sleeves have a contrasting trim like that of the vintage ringer style t-shirts, in a light ivory/oat color.

Made in all sizes for a long life of wear and enjoyment—custom color requests are always welcome!
