Mother's Daughter skirt, Mulberry plaid

Mother's Daughter skirt, Mulberry plaid
Flowy and breezy plaid skirt, with a stretchy elastic waist with belt loops plus two generous front pockets—this skirt has a very full drape and is perfect for twirling.
Its fabric is lightweight and breathable—100% woven cotton in shades of mulberry, grain, and rust.
Its plaid is in the madras style, and its direction contrasts within the top and bottom section of each skirt panel. Care is taken to match the lines of the plaid within the long bottom panels of each skirt so that the side seams aline in a flattering V shape.
(Perhaps this personal mission of mine to make sure the lines meet as closely as possible will be my early ticket into an insane asylum, but I also feel this is one sure way to prove a garment was made with great care and artistry!)
Constructed in a midi length (mid calf)—also available in longer or shorter lengths.
Its bottom hem is banded with bias cut fabric with covered seams along the inside for added durability.
Made for a long life of wear and enjoyment.
This skirt is an identical match to the Ties That Bind blouse, but with an independent beauty all its own. Wear it matchy-matchy with the blouse or just wear it all the time with your favorite tank top, tshirt, collared shirt, or cardigan. Blouse sold separately, you can find it here: Ties That Bind blouse
