Design your own Margot Dress

About this dress:

• This dress is based on a gorgeous retro-inspired pattern created by AllisPatterns--if you are a fellow seamstress find her shop here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/AllisPatterns

• For this dress I used her Margot Dress pattern (https://www.etsy.com/listing/1585889881/the-margot-dress-and-blouse-vintage-pdf) with a few added adjustments such as the quilt-block paneling along the skirt as well as at the top of the shoulders. Her pattern also uses a zipper at the side, but I love the comfort and clean line of snaps that extend along the torso--this way you can keep some of the snaps open at the bottom for a skirt slit that is as open or modest as you prefer.

How to size:

• Find my sizing chart here: www.sewmoe.com/sizing and feel free to opt for custom sizing if you don't see your size listed. Please note that this dress is not stretchy so your bust and waist measurements are particularly important. Please don't hesitate to reach out via email if you are having a hard time choosing a size.

• Choose your length. Pictured here in midi/calf length, also available in a shorter knee length and a longer ankle length. Or opt to provide your own length! (Measured from the waistband to bottom hem of the skirt)
