Sleeveless handmade patchwork dress with gathered waist and midi length skirt.
Constructed from soft washed linen and 100% cotton, featuring quilt block accents at the bodice and skirt--vintage inspired but unique and perfect just like you!

If you are familiar with my work, you know I love combining patterns and colors. This dress features a number of botanical inspired prints and dots, paired with a splash of one of my most favorite patterns in the world...herringbone. All anchored to a lovely salt & pepper linen.

The dress itself has a gathered waist, with two generous pockets hidden into the side seams of the skirt. Two bonus pockets are also built into the actual quilt squares along the front stripe of the dress. These horizontal pockets measure 7.5" x 5.5", and can be secured closed by two small snaps at the opening.

Designed with a flattering fit-and-flare silhouette that looks great on a number of body types.
For a super loose/oversized fit, please size up one size from your usual. Otherwise, this dress is intended to have a roomy (but not oversized) fit around the bust and waist--with a fully open fit at the hips.
It snaps at one side of the bodice for easy wear (no fussy zippers or buttons, or squeezing in) and the waistline can be tightened further with its simple and adjustable fabric belt.
The belt is made of matching linen with solid black hardware. You can also wear your own belt since this dress has 4 belt loops. Or you don't have to wear a belt at all.

Custom length is also an option, otherwise the length from waistband to skirt hem are as follows:
Mid calf length: 30" from waistband to hem
Ankle length: 40"
Above the knee: 22"

All hems professionally finished with handmade linen binding.

-- Herringbone fabric, double napped 100% cotton flannel (Mediumweight 6.4 oz/yd²)
**All fabrics have been pre-washed for shrinking prior to sewing.

CARE
Wash cold/gentle cycle. Air dry is preferable, or lowest heat setting on dryer.
Iron if needed with medium to high heat.
