This vest is handbuilt with front pleats and darts for a flattering shape.
The waist is adjustable for finer-tuned fit, with small tabs on each side that snap into place.
It is built with a cropped length for more versatility, while keeping the torso long enough to fit two functional pockets. Pockets can be snapped closed, and are partially lined in fleece for extra comfort when warming your hands.
This vest is intended to fit comfortably around your chest and waist, leaving your hips open. Perfect for wearing mid to high-rise jeans/pants and especially cute with dresses!
The denim used to make this design is a 100% cotton with a minimal amount of stretch. It has been pre-washed before sewing to soften its hand and drape. Vest will not shrink with laundering and will break-in further with time and wear.
The quilted elements are made by layering fabrics with quilters batting, and then stitched in a grid pattern--each line one-at-a-time. A process that takes a considerable amount of time, but I find the end result to be so rewarding!
The woven stripes fabric is a lovely linen I purchased many, many years ago. It features an ivory base with patterned black stripes beautifully woven into it. I can no longer find more of this fabric, so unfortunately when its gone...its gone. Its limited edition nature makes this vest even more special, and I'm so delighted to be able to offer it now.

Finished with durable brass snap closures along the front, at the pockets, and for the adjustable side tabs.
Contrasting maroon and white striped linen peeks-out from inside of the snap placard, as well as the side tabs that adjust the fit at the waist.

Fully lined with a super soft anti-pill fleece in solid black, this vest is incredibly warm while not being super bulky. Designed to be easily layered over garments, and under jackets...whichever works best for your wardrobe.

Wash cold/gentle cycle :: air dry, or dryer safe in the lowest heat setting.
