Upcycled/redesigned/reworked from a Bon Worth button-front shirt that features a multi color plaid. Originally sized as a women’s XL shirt.

Restyled to be the retro-inspired housedress of my dreams! I am so tempted to keep this one. I paired a brown patterned linen with the original cotton plaid of the shirt and I just adore the color/print combination. The bodice is decorated with a contrasting front yoke that matches the back flap of its sailor collar. A plaid angular design is built into the front for added nuance, with a collar designed to be worn buttoned at the very top or folded down as a lapel collar.
Large & generous patch pockets feature box pleats to maximize storage, and pin-tucks help to shape the front. Its cap sleeves are made from the shirt cuffs of the original shirt.
Designed for a loose fit on a size small—will also work well on a medium for a tighter fit.
