Vintage inspired sleeveless mini dress with fitted bodice and flouncy skirt. Made from a soft and stretchy velvet in a colorful floral print, I have a limited quantity of this fabric so get it while you can!

The colors include crimson, peach, golden yellow, and the palest blue flowers on a deep black background. I've not come by anything like it before and wish I had more!

The bodice of this dress buttons up the front asymmetrically along the left side with simple black buttons. Its black lapel collar looks super cute buttoned up to the top, giving it a vintage babydoll dress feel with its pointed collar. For a more sophisticated look, the bodice can be unbuttoned further for a deep V cut neckline reminiscent of tuxedo lapels or a single breasted blazer dress. I love how this simple dress can adapt to a number of looks.

Two cute fold-top pockets are sewn into each side of the skirt. Mimicking the pointed lapels of the collar, these pockets give the dress a vintage feel and a little splash of nuance. Plus, who doesn't need pockets?

For the fit, I designed this dress to be easy to wear and flattering.

The bodice is beautifully tailored to flatter the bust and waist, while the skirt flares from the waist with a full flowy silhouette constructed from tapered panels. It is soft and stretchy with a forging fit, with a hemline that falls about mid thigh.

This dress is fully lined with bamboo jersey--the outside velvet is soft, and the jersey liner is even softer.

Because of limited fabric availability I can not offer this floral version in a longer midi or ankle length--but I am happy to work with you on finding an alternate fabric with more yardage.
