Freckle Blouse, cotton poplin box blouse with side buttons.

Freckle Blouse, cotton poplin box blouse with side buttons.
A beautiful breezy 100% cotton blouse featuring a high-stand asymmetrical collar, paired with a charming neckline bow.
Its lightweight fabric is a deep brown color with a charcoal tone, featuring a repeating pattern of tiny golden umber designs woven into it. (The freckles of its namesake.)
This cute box blouse is designed with a straight yoke in both the front and the back for a retro feel, with the fabric cut along the bias for a slight contrast in its freckle pattern. The shoulders are framed by cute squared cap sleeves that have a contrasting underside so that you can wear them “rolled” up to make the blouse sleeveless.
The length of this blouse has functional buttons along both sides—and contrasting button plackets for added detail. Wear the sides partially unbuttoned for a more fluid drape and an even more relaxed fit.
Its wooden buttons feature a flower cut-out design…they are lightweight and sealed to preserve their dark wood coloring.
Made in a shorter/cropped length to pair best with high waisted layers, this top is also available in longer lengths, even tunic territory—professionally finished with a straight bounded hem.
Handmade and sewn in all sizes, custom color requests are always welcome. If you’d like to message about alternate fabrics, please send me an email. Let’s talk!
Loosely inspired by 19th century old west, but obviously with quite a bit of artistic liberty. Though who knows, maybe Annie Oakley would wear this.
Made-to-order in all sizes, and custom. Find my sizing chart here.
