Super warm and stylish winter jacket with detachable hood, this plaid peacoat is easily one of my favorite inventions.

This jacket features a ton of amenities--but my favorite part is the plaid. It was so much fun to play with the lines and directions of this pattern. A truly unique and stylish winter jacket.

DETAILS

Wool blend outer shell—lined in black anti-pill fleece—this jacket is both soft and substantial. And warm! Jacket closes by large buttons down the front, 8 total for true peacoat glory. The hood is fully detachable with hidden buttons inside, and constructed with 3 panels for a deep roomy fit around your head.

Built with adjustable color-block sleeves with an epaulette at each cuff. Contrasting elbow patches are sewn into each sleeve, for style and function. Shoulders feature a decorative epaulette detailing, finished with large black buttons.

For ease of fitting, I added a back cinch so that you can tighten the fit, or keep it loose for layering. The bottom hemline has a scalloped shape (longer in the front and back while shorter at the sides)--an easy, flattering fit on all figures.

One of my other favorite elements are the two deep front bucket pockets, that also have hand warmer pockets built in! 2 pockets in one...for 4 total pockets on this jacket. The hand-warmer pockets are lined in fleece and sewn behind the front pockets. This double pocket system allows you to store a ton of things in the front pocket, and still have pockets especially for your hands.
