For the record--your fabric choice does not have to be a flannel, nor does it have to be plaid, and it doesn't even have to have a pattern at all.
(All of the links below are set to show flannel options because I love its wonderfully soft texture for this skirt--but that in no way means its the only fabric type that would work for this design.)

Skirt details:
Designed to be an easy to wear--yet eye-catching skirt. It is waist hugging for a flattering fit, plus its very open at the hips for ease of sizing. And yes, it has pockets!
The contrasting triangles detail at the waist lends an interesting detail, and a bit of a nuance to an otherwise simple skirt. Skirt closes with a durable gold zipper and a hook & eye clasp at the side.

Made to order in any size and length--choose your hem length at checkout. Please note that the extra price in the longer lengths is due to the extra fabric yardage needed.
